Dialogue in the Dark

After more than 40 countries across the world this unique experience is finally in Australia this June! So what is this all about? Dialogue in the Dark is an experience in complete darkness where people learn how to interact by relying on the other senses, led by blind guides! Cool isn’t it? This can be great chance not only for kids to have some fun, but for the parents too. Within one hour everyone who dare to try it out will discover how to move in the dark, how to identify the world through the remaining senses and how to communicate without sight. This project was founded by Andreas Heinecke in 1988. while he was working in radio station and was asked to develop a work training for journalist who had lost his sight in a tragic car accident. Since then, more than 10.000 vision impaired guides have been employed to work on this project and help people discover the world in a different way.
