Absolutely disgusted with the lady behind the counters attitude.sunday 25th of June 2017 I headed to shiels in Joondalup to purchase a gold bracelet.i had chosen 2 that I was interested in.when I was undecided in which one I liked I asked the sales lady to try on both.i was then asked to produce identification very rudely I will add.bearing in mind my gold necklace and gold diamond ring I was wearing on the day were both purchased from a shiels store and worth more than both gold bracelets put together.i have never been asked to produce identification before trying on jewellery at any shiels store before this day.but apparently it was store policy?? So does every person produce identification before trying on jewellery in this store? I think not considering I had been and tried on bracelets this very same day at Michael hill jewellers without identification.and their bracelet was double the value of shiels.i had also been to zamels and tried on bracelets no problems this very same day.and yes I was there to purchase not window shop or snatch and grab as the lady had suggested might happen.i produced my identification and decided not to even bother trying the bracelets on.very poor attitude from a salesperson.i left the store after telling the lady I was offended.still with attitude she tells me i may possible snatch the jewellery and run because this had happened to her before.considering they have cameras and security throughout the shopping centre is this lady for real? Oh and of coarse I was willing to leave my partner and my 4 year old son behind as I steal jewellery from the shop? I think not.have always been happy with my experience before Sunday 25th June 2017 with shiels but this lady's attitude cost the store a sale of either $2299 or $3499 depending on which one I liked.not a potential sale a guaranteed sale.has this salesperson cost the store any prior sales? Or future sales? Who knows but one very unhappy customer
