Went to Rivers at the Parkdale Plaza today. The music in the shoe area was very loud. It was unpleasant & uncomfortable shopping there with the volume. I politely asked at the counter to please lower the volume a little as it was way too loud. The staff member gave me a disgraceful tone and attitude and argued with me over this. This kind of behaviour and customer service is disgraceful! Realising this woman had no customer service skills, l asked her to stop (with the verbal attitude) but she continued. We were absolutely disgusted by her behaviour and asked another staff member if the manager was in the store so we could report her, but she replied that she is the manager! We left in disbelief! Disrespected and the most disgraceful customer service! If l could give a 0 star rating, l would.

Rivers Australia Parkdale, Never felt so inadequate as a human being in my life. I couldn't find a staff member anywhere to find out about a pair of shoes. I'm disabled, with a walker. I called out 5 or 6 times could someone please help me, as I couldn't walk around the whole store looking for someone. My carer called out louder for help but nothing As we walked to the exit a lady called Hannah came out of nowhere and abruptly started having a go at her. I felt very uncomfortable and hannah said "You have to come to the front desk if you want help". Im disabled and clearly she could see this. She EXPECTED me to chase her, a girl of less than 20 yrs. Discusting attitude. Abrupt condecending, not suited for sales......Really bad atitude to customers. As said previously i cant walk easily and she could.see it as i walk slowly with a Walker. I bought a pair of shoes But will tell everyone i can of my appaling experience. She should be re trained, understanding customers or realize selling is Not for her Absolutely disgusted.
