Flour free cheese sauce for steamed veggies. 1pack Philadelphia cream cheese ( I use lactose free) put in small saucepan with 1container cream ( lactose free if needed) do not boil but hot enough to melt the cheese, add organic butter or normal butter about a tablespoon. Add grated tasty cheese about 1 cup. Add little bits of water if too thick. This allows you to make the cheese sauce as thick or thin as you like. I like to add some nutmeg just a sprinkling, really good. This is also great for lasagna. Pasta, cheese sauce, pasta, meat sauce, pasta etc…This cheese sauce also really low carbohydrate but tastes great.

Melton Butchers Club are the very best I have been to. The service is always very good and people happy to serve you. But most of all the meat is of highest quality. No hormones, no chemicals in the animals food and no injected water in the roasts to make it weigh more. The mince beef is all fresh and when I cook it no water swims out as with supermarket mince. The range of different chicken meals makes my job much easier. But my families favourite is the huge lamb sausages with real honey and rosemary, just taste wonderful. Cook slowly in the pan because the real honey can burn on the skins if cooked to high or too fast. Be patient, they are worth the few extra minutes. Serve with mashed potato ( steam potatoes and a small diced onion, drain and mash well with one raw egg, cream, fresh cracked black pepper and Herbamare or sea salt.) Steamed fresh broccoli and cauliflower with no flour cheese sauce. We eat this at least once a week. Family favourite. One sausage is enough for me as they are really big and no gluten. Just what my dr ordered! We have never had a tough piece of steak, Scotch fillet is our favourite and the Ozzie Bucco beef just falls off the bone. We have only ever bought meat from the Melton shop at Woodgrove and for 3 years have never had a complaint. Last Christmas I won the Butchers Club raffle, a smoker. The first thing my husband cooked in it was a really big brisket. WOW. Just fell apart and so much flavour. I am so grateful that in Melton we have a shop that sticks to such a high standard. No! I don’t have shares and I am not related to the owners, I do not know who they are, but I have just read some other reviews and was so saddened because we have never had a even an average piece of meat. Definitely 5 stars.
