Had my Iphone 8 plus screen and battery replaced. The battery is clearly low quality. The bigger problem is my phone got a little wet less than a month after repair and completely died. Honestly only a little wet, I was so surprised it killed my phone and seemed to have completely filled my phone water. When I started trying to repair the phone myself the water sealing gasket looked like it had never been replaced. This is unacceptable on a repair that I was charged so much for. Battery and screen costs $100 and I was charged $190... so $90 for a 15 minute job the gasket cost $2 and takes 30 seconds to install and was never done! To me this is negligence from a costly professional repair. I understand water damage isn't covered and that a repaired phone can't be as water resistant as a new phone. But not replacing that very cheap gasket left my phone with no water resistance allowing water to flood my phone. They admitted to never replacing the gasket but took no responsibility to fixing or compensating me for the neglectful way my phone was fixed. Take your phone somewhere else, half assed repair even tho I was charged a proper amount. Admitted he never replaces the gasket what a sad excuse for a repair shop.
