Grand Central Shopping Centre is a retail shopping centre in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. It is located at Dent Street & Margaret Street, Toowoomba QLD 4350. It is the largest shopping centre in the Darling Downs region, with the first stage opening in September 1996. The centre underwent several expansions and renovations over the years, adding more stores, cinemas, a food court and a library. In 2017, it completed a $500 million redevelopment that doubled its floor area to 90,000 square metres and the number of parking spaces to 4 000. Grand Central Shopping Centre is owned by Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC), a government-owned corporation that invests in real estate, infrastructure and other assets. Grand Central Shopping Centre hosts over 230 specialty stores in two levels and offers a wide range of products and services, from fashion and beauty to homewares and electronics. Some of the major stores include: Myer, Target, Coles, Woolworths, Kmart, Big W, H&M, Apple, JB Hi-Fi. Grand Central Shopping Centre has a variety of dining options to suit different tastes and budgets. You can enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants and cafes on Level 1 and Level 2, such as: Betty’s Burgers & Concrete Co., Guzman y Gomez, Jamaica Blue, Schnitz. You can also grab a quick bite at the food court on Level 1, where you can find: Boost Juice, KFC, Subway, Sushi Sushi. Grand Central Shopping Centre is open seven days a week, the general opening hours are: Monday - Wednesday 9am-5:30pm, Thursday 9am-9pm, Friday 9am-5:30pm, Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday 10am-4pm. Grand Central Shopping Centre has over 4000 car parking spaces, including disabled and parents with prams parking. Parking is free for the first three hours on weekdays and all day on weekends. Grand Central Shopping Centre has a bus interchange on Level 2, which connects to various bus routes that service the Toowoomba CBD and surrounding suburbs. Grand Central Shopping Centre is also close to the Toowoomba train station, which is about a 15-minute walk from the centre. The train station is on the Westlander line, which connects to Brisbane and Charleville.

With a capacity of almost 2000 parking spaces available, our car parks incorporate uncercover, disabled parking, pram parking and a section designed for one hour express parking.
