Worst Supermarket Branch Ever. Rude, smug and condescending management. Frequent arguments over refunds, store credits, faulty/wrong purchases. Deny legal liabilities. Horrid shopping experience that is steadily declining in all aspects.

The worst Woolworths I have ever shopped at. In fact, I can say, in all honesty, it is the worst supermarket I have ever shopped at, period. The present management has one over-riding, all-encompassing motto: The Customer Is Always WRONG. Rude, condescending and dismissive, they infer that, in their minds, it is a privilege to shop there. There is often arguments going on at the front desk from unhappy customers that are met with a smug, self-righteousness that I have never experinced at ANY retailers and with such regularity. They refuse refunds or store credits for mistakes they(WWs) have made, and on occasions, have had the gall to say that the customer is actually better off with the mistake, to the point of, I think, wanting actual praise or an apology for bringing it to their attention. I have watched the place deteriorate in CS, available goods(NOT covid related; just mismanagement) and structure, for a couple of years now, but it has definitely gone way more downhill over the last 12 to 18 months. The Woolworths in the city is diametrically different and I would shop there exclusively if it wasnt so far away. Avoid Woolworths Hermit Park any cost, if you can. You will regret shopping there, sooner rather than later, unfortunately. Dismal shopping experience that is rapidly declining. I dont write reviews often, I think this is my 2nd, but this supermarket is truly a bad choice, especially in these economic times, I feel it a duty. I have seen way too many walk away in tears or in disgust/distress after dealing with these people and their SEG management. If another supermarket was to open in the same shopping centre, I doubt Woolworths would survive more than a few weeks. Today, more if the same, a grey haired lady almost in tears. Just unacceptable.
