    I have not stopped crying since I left Hair Crew and Co. I came today to get my hair colour lighter (full head foils) I was told that it will cost me $450 (double the price of where I went to last time) which I was happy to pay as-long as my hair was well looked after and I got the colour I wanted (I have only bleached my hair once before). After putting foils in my hair, the left side of my hair got burnt severely that it started to fall off in chunks/pieces in my hands. When I questioned Selena( who was doing my hair) I was told not to touch my hair when it’s “wet” as it’s so weak hence why it’s falling. She quickly took the rest of the foils out of my hair and advised that I got an “allergic reaction” because I use “Head and Shoulders shampoo”. I googled it and it mentioned that head and shoulders was colour safe. If they claim that it’s an allergic reaction, then why I did not experience any itchiness, red scalp,any pain or anything of that sort other than my hair falling off on ONE SIDE ONLY. My hair feels so rough now (literally feels like sand paper and even worse ). Selena kept saying that she only kept the bleach for 20 minutes when in reality she kept it for a lot longer and that is why my hair got severely burnt. I was going to cry! The whole entire salon was staring at my hair including all staff members who were trying to intervene by offering me “samples” of treatments to use after I go home. She also advised that she felt “horrible” and was unable to sleep at night for what she has done to me however, once everything was done, I went to the register and was told to pay $450( after severely damaging my hair) and I kept arguing for over 15 minutes and then they only took $100 off. I couldn’t even believe the audacity of them arguing after what they have done to me. I walked out miserable and could not stop crying for what they have done to my hair. I called my husband who is a barber of 20 years and has his own business and he was in a massive shock. I have also contacted my friend who has been a hair dresser for 25 years and owns a shop in Stockland Merrylands and was advised that this is not an “allergic reaction” like they claim to be. While I was arguing with Selena, the manager was just standing there with her back turned on me and did not even intervene or a knowledge me until I said I want to speak to the manager. They ended up charging me $333 instead, with the colour not even turning out like how I asked for it to be. When I asked her if she believes it’s fair for me to be paying this amount, she replied saying you’re paying for my time! I will take this matter to Fair trading and really hope no one goes through what I went through as this has caused me mental trauma. I have never reviewed a business previously, but they really deserve a bad review for the way they handled the matter. I am left with horrible burnt short hair on one side that will take me years to grow back. Prior to me coming to this place, I had such beautiful thick healthy hair. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AND I WILL MAKE SURE THAT THIS REVIEW GOES ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS TO RAISE AWARENESS OF THIS SO CALLED “BUSINESS”
